The AET course includes 48 guided learning hours and is split into three core units:

2. Planning and Delivering Inclusive Teaching Sessions
- Creating lesson plans
- Engaging diverse learners

3. Understanding Assessment in Education and Training

- Giving constructive feedback
- Involving learners in self-assessment
Micro-Teach Session
You’ll be required to plan and deliver a 15–30 minute micro-teaching session. This allows you to demonstrate your teaching skills in a real-world environment. It’s observed and assessed by your tutor or peers.
