Award in Education & Training Course is designed to contribute towards the knowledge and understanding for Further Education National Training Organisation (FENTO) or the Employment National Training Organisation (EMPNTO) occupational standards.

The Award is suitable for those who work, or want to work as:
Teachers/Trainers/Tutors in the Lifelong Learning Sector and Adult/Community Education, Trainers of personnel in commerce, industry, Beauty, public and voluntary sectors or HM Forces Technicians and Support Staff in Further and Adult Education Part time teachers in further and adult education Provided they are qualified in the subject they intend to teach by virtue of holding an appropriate professional qualification or employed in a training/teaching role.

Online / Class Based / Distance Learning Course:

Level 3 AET qualification is delivered through our online based learning platform or classroom based with full tutor support throughout the course. A great option for anyone wishing to get the qualification using Online / Distance Learning method with the option to study from anywhere at anytime with our tutor support. You will be given full access to the Online Portal upon booking on the course. You will be given up to 12 weeks to complete the assignments / coursework; however if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard, you do not need to wait for 12 weeks, Learners finish within 2/3 weeks, depend on their lifestyle.

Within the 12 weeks, you need to come in for 1 day Micro Teach at any of our training venues close to you or you can do the Micro Teach from your home/workplace, or via Zoom and send the video record along with the portfolio / coursework. During the micro teach, you will be observed by 2 peer who will give peer observation report. Necessary resources such as computer, projector, flip chart will be provided for your micro-teach session.

Entry requirement:The entry requirement for this course are the basic functional skills (Numeracy, Literacy, ICT). You must be 18 years old or over.

Documents required from you:
You will be required to bring Identification documents such as Passport or drivers licence and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement) etc along with 1 passport size photographs.

How long is the training course?
It has been designed to be completed by 3 Days for class based and Zoom Course.

Class Based / Zoom Course: Please note: After 3 days in the class, you will be given 3 weeks deadline to submit your portfolio. However if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard.

Micro-teach: Alternative we can record your session and send to us using a memory stick .You can also use zoom video, Skype or Cisco WebEx video technology to perform your lesson.

Course Assessment: No formal examination is required for this course, but at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio.

How to write portfolio at Level 3:
At Level 3, you will be required to explain, describe and summarise teaching and learning concepts. Level 3 requires end. of unit referencing.
